Spirit of God in 1 Samuel

Then the Spirit of the LORD will rush upon you, and you will prophesy with them and be turned into another man.
(1 Samuel 10:6 ESV)

When he turned his back to leave Samuel, God gave him another heart. And all these signs came to pass that day. When they came to Gibeah, behold, a group of prophets met him, and the Spirit of God rushed upon him, and he prophesied among them.
(1 Samuel 10:9-10 ESV)

Saul also went to his home at Gibeah, and with him went men of valor whose hearts God had touched.

And the Spirit of God rushed upon Saul when he heard these words, and his anger was greatly kindled. He took a yoke of oxen and cut them in pieces and sent them throughout all the territory of Israel by the hand of messengers, saying, “Whoever does not come out after Saul and Samuel, so shall it be done to his oxen!” Then the dread of the LORD fell upon the people, and they came out as one man.

Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers. And the Spirit of the LORD rushed upon David from that day forward. And Samuel rose up and went to Ramah.

Now the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and a harmful spirit from the LORD tormented him.
