Foundation Publications has kindly sent me a review copy of thier latest Calfskin SCR NASB and today I want to highlight some of the key features of this edition.

Here are the main details

  • NASB 1995 Updated Text
  • Black Letter text
  • 11 pt. size font
  • Calfskin cover (not as think or limp as previous versions)
  • Book Summaries, Maps, and Concordance in back
  • Side Column Reference
  • Verse Format
  • Smyth Sewn
  • Presentation Pages
  • 2 Black Ribbons

I really like this Bible and it appears to be a great new edition in the classic line of the NASB SCR from Foundation. This calfskin cover is not as thick or limp as it used to be and at first feels a little closer to genuine leather than thier classic calfskin, yet it still seems to be a “higher quality” cover. I really like font size and formatting but I wish they had kept thier original dimensions. This edition is a little smaller and should probably not be considered a wide-margin. This appears to be a solid Bible and may even take the place of my Ultrathin Large Print Calfskin NASB. If you are interested in this Bible you can purchase it at these locations Amazon.com ,  AllBibles.com, EvangelicalBible.com, or from Fouindation Publications direct.
